Who I am.

Hi, I’m Zach. I am a General Manager and operations-and-finance leader for daring, genre and form-challenging theatrical and live productions. I build the financial, contractual, logistical, and operating structures that let artists and producers bring bold, complex work to the stage.

My work spans production finance, commercial and nonprofit deal structure, union administration, budgeting and income projection, company management, payroll, vendors, and operational systems. I bring more than fifteen years of experience across institutional and independent productions, including work through Actors Theatre of Louisville, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Arlekin Players Theatre, and PlayMakers Repertory Company.

What I do.

I build the financial and operational spine of a production.

That means budgets, income projections, contracts, union administration, payroll, vendors, schedules, reporting, and company-management systems that make the creative process more possible, not more complicated.

My work moves easily between the details and the larger picture: an artist agreement, a vendor issue, a break-even model, a presenting engagement, or the larger question of what a production needs to become viable. I turn information into decisions teams can act on.

What I bring.

  • Production finance and decision support — budgets, scenario planning, reporting, reconciliation, and break-even analysis

  • Commercial and nonprofit fluency — operating frameworks, deal structure, enhancement and royalty considerations, and producer-facing financial clarity

  • Labor and contracting — negotiation and administration across AEA, SDC, USA, AFM, and IATSE, plus artist and vendor agreements

  • Company management — travel, housing, payroll, schedules, vendors, and the operational reality of touring and presenting engagements

  • Calm execution — clear communication and steady problem-solving when priorities shift and productions are live

I’m based in Kentucky, work remotely, and am available to travel for key moments that require in-person presence.

  • Delirium — General Manager Boston, 2026 · Calderwood Pavilion, Boston Center for the Arts General Manager of record for a commercially enhanced production that closed under budget. Led production finance, vendor strategy, and company-management operations; supported the commercial/nonprofit operating framework, artist agreements, and decision-ready budget, break-even, and settlement models.
